SolaX T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 MCS0800 – High-voltage BMS and charge controller unit
The SolaX T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 MCS0800 is a dedicated high voltage BMS and charge controller that acts as the central control unit for SolaX HV battery towers. The system enables the safe, efficient, and intelligent operation of T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 battery modules, whether in a 5.1 kWh or even a 33.2 kWh configuration.
The BMS monitors battery cell voltages, temperatures, charging/discharging currents, and overall energy management, while ensuring long life and safe operation under all operating conditions.

Without the SolaX MCS0800 unit, the HV-S2.5 battery tower is not operational – itisthe "brain" of the system.
The BMS ensures:
- stable communication with the inverter,
- cell-level protection functions,
- optimization of charging/discharging processes,
- full capacity range management (5.1–33.2 kWh),
- coordinated operation of multiple modules (2–13 modules).
With the MCS0800, SolaX HV battery towers are safe, efficient, and modularly expandable in the long term.
Can it be used in off-grid systems?
Yes, but only with a suitable SolaX HV hybrid inverter that supports off-grid operation.
On its own, without an inverter, the MCS0800 is not capable of energy management.
Which inverters is it compatible with?
The charge controller can only be used with SolaX HV batteries and SolaX X1-Hybrid / X3-Hybrid and X3 Ultra hybrid inverters.
The communication protocols are RS485 and CAN bus.
It does not work with inverters from other manufacturers.
Protection and control functions
The MCS0800 provides a high level of battery protection:

- cell-level temperature monitoring
- safety shutdown in critical conditions
