What does the package include?

The Deye SG05LP3 + ESS-DEYE-SE-F12-C MAX package is a three-phase, 48V hybrid energy storage system that combines the higher-performance SG05LP3 inverter with the outdoor-rated, IP65-protected SE-F12-C MAX LiFePO4 battery. The system is suitable for grid feed-in, zero export operation (with CT), backup operation in case of power failure, as well as scheduled battery charging and discharging. The inverter is designed for three-phase hybrid operation with generator support and advanced energy management functions.

The SE-F12-C MAX version is part of the ESS MAX series, which is optimized for outdoor installation, with IP65/NEMA 3R protection, built-in intelligent BMS, and active fuses.

What inverter capacities are available with this package?

The ESS-DEYE-SE-F12-C MAX battery can also be ordered with the following SG05LP3 three-phase hybrid inverters:

What can the ESS-DEYE-SE-F12-C MAX energy storage system do?

The SE-F12-C MAX is an energy storage system based on LiFePO4 (LFP) technology, which:

  • has a nominal energy storage capacity of 11.8 kWh

  • Operates at a nominal voltage of 51.2 V

  • Can be used at 90% recommended DoD

  • is capable of a max. output power of 11.8 kW

  • Supports max. 1C charging and 1C discharging

  • Up to 32 units can be connected in parallel

The system is outdoor-rated with IP65/NEMA 3R protection, intelligent thermal management, and a built-in DC circuit breaker. Communication is based on CAN2.0, RS485, and Bluetooth, and also supports Deye Cloud remote monitoring. 

How does the MAX version differ from the standard version?

One of the most important advantages of the MAX version is its higher protection rating (IP65) and design optimized for outdoor installation. In addition, the MAX version supports a high 1C charge/discharge rate (SE-F12 Max), which enables faster energy transfer and higher peak performance. The modular design has been retained, so the system can be easily expanded to increase storage capacity.

What can the SG05LP3 hybrid inverter series do?

The SG05LP3 series three-phase hybrid inverters operate with a 48V battery system and support:

  • On-grid / off-grid / UPS operation

  • 6 time window battery charging/discharging programs

  • Generator charging

  • AC coupling solution for existing systems

  • Three-phase asymmetric output operation

  • Parallel operation of multiple inverters

Who is the MAX package recommended for?

This configuration is the ideal choice for three-phase properties where:

  • there is higher consumption in the evening or during peak hours

  • heat pumps or higher-power electrical equipment are in operation

  • electric car charging is also part of the system

  • outdoor battery installation is required

  • a high cycle count and a 10-year manufacturer's warranty are important

The MAX version is particularly advantageous if the system is installed outdoors or if higher charging/discharging capacity is required.
