What is the TP-HS50E battery used for?

The battery operates entirely under the control of the X3-IES inverter, so there is no need for a separate battery controller or external electronics.

Modular design, flexible expandability

Communication, protection functions, and charge/discharge control are provided by the SolaX BMS of HS50E with Base (TBMS-MCS0800E), and the inverter manages the battery through this unit. As a result, the system operates stably and predictably; use with other inverters or systems from other manufacturers is not supported.

Optional accessory: smart meter for accurate measurement

The system can also be optionally supplemented with the SolaX 3-phase CT smart meter, which helps accurately measure consumption and grid energy flow. This can be particularly useful if the goal is precise self-consumption optimization or more detailed monitoring of system operation. The smart meter is not required for the inverter to function, but it is highly recommended for many installations.

Safety and Lifespan
