Deye SUN-SMART-SWITCH01P3 – LoRa Smart Switch for high-power outdoor loads
The Deye SUN-SMART-SWITCH01P3 is a LoRa-based smart switch designed specifically for the intelligent control of outdoor, high-power loads. It is compatible with all Deye hybrid inverters and, as part of the Deye Wireless Energy Management System, automatically turns connected devices on and off based on SOC-based or scheduled logic.
What is the Smart Switch for?
The purpose of the SUN-SMART-SWITCH01P3 is to ensure that excess energy from the solar system is not fed back into the grid, but rather directed to local consumers. When the battery reaches a certain charge level or the solar panels are generating just enough energy, the switch automatically turns on the connected device. This results in significant long-term savings on electricity bills.
Single-phase and three-phase compatibility
The Smart Switch supports both single-phase (L1/N) and three-phase (L1/L2/L3/N) connections simultaneously, with a maximum phase current of 25A. Its voltage range is 94–238V, making it suitable for use in virtually any European power grid environment. With an IP65 protection rating, it is fully suitable for outdoor installation, from –40°C to +45°C.
Control via the Deye Cloud app
The device can be controlled directly from the Deye inverterdisplay or via the Deye Cloud mobile app. The timing and SOC-based logic can be configured as desired, ensuring consumers receive power exactly when it is cheapest or when the solar panel is generating enough. LoRa communication remains stable even without an internet connection, within a range of up to 200 meters.
