The Deye SUN-XL20-B is a professional Optimizer Concentrator designed specifically for solar power systems. Its function is to collect and control the module-level optimizers (SUN-XL02-B) and transmit the data to the inverter—all without the need for additional communication cables. The device simultaneously provides rapid shutdown and module-level monitoring functions.
How does the Optimizer Concentrator work?
The SUN-XL20-B forms a complete system together with the SUN-XL02-Bmodule optimizers. The concentrator manages up to four strings in parallel and communicates with the optimizers via PLC (Power Line Carrier) over existing solar cables. This means that no separate communication infrastructure is required—the system operates over existing DC cables.
Rapid Shutdown and Safety
The rapid shutdown function is an increasingly important safety requirement for solar systems. The SUN-XL20-B is capable of quickly and safely reducing the voltage of all connected solar modulesin the event of an emergency shutdown. The concentrator can be used in both 1000V and 1500V systems, with a maximum input current of 20A. Its dimensions are 229×109×38 mm, and it weighs 1600 grams.
