Huawei SmartGuard-63A-T0 – Three-phase smart backup switch box
The Huawei SmartGuard-63A-T0 is the three-phase version of the SmartGuard series, providing complete home backup protection on three-phase networks with a switching time of ≤20 ms. When combined with an external EMMA-A02 controller, it enables intelligent load management and can handle up to 3 inverters in parallel.
Three-phase full home backup
The T0 model covers the entire three-phase grid (380/400/415V, 220/230/240V L1/L2/L3/N+PE), with a maximum current of 63A per phase. The combined output of the backup port and the non-backup port must not exceed 63A. Switching time is ≤20 ms in seamless mode and ≤100 ms in standard mode, and bypass mode is also available via manual activation.
Compatible Devices and Expandability
The SmartGuard-63A-T0 can manage up to 3 Huawei invertersin parallel in MAP0 mode, 2 EV chargers, 14 heat pumps (via Shelly devices), and 20 Shelly smart devices. The T0 version requires an external EMMA-A02 controller, which allows for the configuration of SOC-based and timed control strategies.
Physical characteristics and protection
The SmartGuard-63A-T0 measures 600×170×490 mm and weighs 17 kg (without mounting plate). It has an IP55 protection rating and natural convection cooling. Its operating temperature ranges from –25°C to +50°C (in on-grid mode, the maximum current decreases linearly above 30°C). It integrates seamlessly with Huawei energy storage systems.
Measurement accuracy and DG mode
Energy measurement accuracy is ±1%, with a measurement range of ≤63A. The DG (Distributed Generation) mode is remotely controllable, enabling the integration of decentralized generation units.
