In 2026, SOLARKIT Europe Kft. was included in the FT1000 – Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies list, a joint ranking by the Financial Times and Statista. The ranking highlights Europe’s fastest-growing companies, and SOLARKIT ranked 141st at the European level.
And what makes us particularly proud: we rank 2nd among Hungarian companies.
This recognition is more than just a ranking. For us, it confirms that conscious growth, professional commitment, stable operations, a customer- and employee-centric approach, and a belief in clean energy create value in the long term.
What does the FT1000 list represent?
The list aims to highlight companies that have achieved outstanding revenue growth over a specific period. For the 2026 ranking, the period under review was from 2021 to 2024.
The ranking is not based on subjective opinions. The evaluation focuses on revenue growth, specifically the annual average growth rate, or CAGR. This makes it possible to compare the performance of companies operating in different industries and countries.
How were the companies evaluated?
Companies that met the methodological criteria were eligible for inclusion on the FT1000 list. Companies had to be headquartered in Europe and achieve revenue of at least €100,000 in 2021 and at least €1.5 million in 2024.
Another key criterion was that growth had to be predominantly organic. This means that expansion had to stem primarily from the company’s own business activities, rather than from acquisitions or external mergers.
When compiling the ranking, Statista uniformly converted revenue data into euros and then calculated the companies’ growth rates based on these figures. To qualify for the 2026 list, a minimum annual average growth rate of 17% was required.
Hungarian roots, international wholesale presence
Our European ranking on the FT1000 list is also important feedback for us because SOLARKIT’s growth cannot be interpreted solely in the context of the Hungarian market. We started as a Hungarian company and built our professional foundation here at home, but with our wholesale division, we now serve our partners on an international level as well.
For our B2B partners, we provide products related to solar panels, energy storage, and energy solutions, as well as professional support and a stable supply chain, in several European countries. We are present in Hungary, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Serbia. In addition to our 2,000-square-meter warehouse in Budapest, we have opened a second depot in Maribor, enabling us to serve our partners more quickly and efficiently from a logistical standpoint.
This international presence makes the FT1000 recognition particularly valuable. The ranking not only demonstrates that SOLARKIT is growing rapidly, but also that Hungarian expertise, stable operations, and a partner-focused wholesale approach are competitive on a European level.
