If a Tongwei panel isn't producing what its degradation curve says it should, you file the claim with SOLARKIT and we take it from there with the manufacturer. One exception: we don't take back physically damaged panels. The manufacturer approves that claim and ships the replacement.

Six things will void the manufacturer's warranty.

1. Removing or opening the panel without approval.

2. Installation by an uncertified installer.

3. Physical damage during or after shipping.

4. Operating the panel outside its technical limits — extreme cold, heat or acid rain.

5. A missing original purchase invoice.

6. And filing the claim more than 30 days after you spot the fault.

The product warranty runs 12 or 15 years, the performance warranty up to 30: after three decades the panel should still deliver around 88% of its original output. If the claim goes through, Tongwei will either replace the module, issue a partial refund or send an extra module. They cover the shipping — removal and installation are on the installer. To file, you'll need your contact details, the panel model and serial number, the original invoice, and ideally photos and multimeter readings.
