There are two ways to file a Dyness battery warranty claim. If the product is registered on the Dyness monitoring platform, you file it there. If it isn't, you file by e-mail. Either way, Dyness decides the claim, not SOLARKIT.
Seven things will void the manufacturer's warranty:
1. Removing or opening the unit without approval
2. Installation by an uncertified installer
3. Physical damage or water ingress after shipping
4. Repairs or modifications made without approval
5. Operating the unit outside its technical limits — with batteries, that means too cold or too hot
6. No product registration or no monitoring connection
7. A missing original purchase invoice
On the Dyness portal, go to After Sales Management, open After Sales Workorder and hit the green Create ticket button. Enter the serial number, the exact model and a description of the fault — and attach a photo or a PDF while you're at it. For an e-mail claim you need five things: the product serial number and model, the model of the connected inverter, the PV configuration, the operating conditions, and the battery log files. One thing worth knowing: the warranty on a replacement unit doesn't start over. It runs out with the original product's warranty period.
