SOLARKIT does not make decisions regarding the Huawei inverter warranty. You report the fault directly through Huawei’s manufacturer portal, and Huawei determines whether the fault is covered by the warranty.

You’ll void the manufacturer’s warranty in seven situations: if you disassembled or tampered with the product without authorization; if it was installed by a non-certified technician; if it sustained physical damage or water damage after delivery; if it was repaired or modified without authorization, if it was used outside the technical limits (e.g., the battery was exposed to extreme cold or heat), if it is not registered or connected to the monitoring system, and if the original purchase receipt is missing.

On the Huawei fault report form, enter the inverter’s serial number, a description of the fault, the time the fault occurred, and the contact person’s information. You must also attach the device’s log files to the report. You can download these online via the FusionSolar interface or locally by connecting to the inverter using the mobile app. In the video, we’ll walk you through, step by step, where to find the download button.
